Welcome to the 4th Conference of iCRRM 2019, which will be held by Stem Cell Institute (SCI), University of Science, VNU-HCM in Ho Chi Minh City.
After the success of the last conference with the experts from over 30 countries, it is an opportune time to renew contacts and discuss problems of mutual interest in the innovation of cancer research and regenerative medicine.
Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) is one of the two largest national universities in Vietnam. The education professionals cover technology, natural science, basic sciences, social and humanity, literature, foreign languages, and business. Stem Cell Institute, University of Science, VNU-HCM, is an internationally recognized research organization in stem cell and cancer research. Researchers in SCI are conducting advanced studies in pluripotent, adult stem cell and iPSC, drug discovery for cancer treatment, cancer cell signaling to name a few.
For the last few years, University of Georgia (USA) and Yonsei University (Korea) have closely cooperated with VNU-HCM in education and research, especially in cancer research and regenerative medicine. Chartered by the state of Georgia in 1785, the University of Georgia is the birthplace of public higher education in America — launching our nation’s great tradition of world-class education for all. One of America’s “Public Ivies” and a top 10 best value in public higher education, the University of Georgia tackles some of the world’s grand challenges — from combating infectious disease and securing the world’s food supply to advancing economic growth and analyzing the environment. Yonsei University is a private research university in Seoul, South Korea. It is one of Korea’s three SKY universities, a group of universities widely regarded as the most prestigious in the country. Yonsei was established in 1885 and is one of the oldest universities in South Korea.
Because of this cordial relationship, University of Georgia (USA) and Yonsei University (Korea) and VNU-HCM continue to meet and bring inspired people together in this iCRRM 2019 conference to ensure our studies remains at the cutting edge.
Visiting Ho Chi Minh City is an enriching activity for the mind and the soul. The region is home to a treasure trove of history, tradition, and nature. HCM city is Vietnam’s commercial headquarters brash and busy with a keen sense of its importance as Vietnam emerges from years of austerity to claim a place in the Asian Tiger economic slugfest. HCM City locals next to Mekong Delta, one of Vietnam’s most exciting and scenic regions with small craft villages, mangrove swamps, island orchards, and floating markets.
The splendor of HCM city is complemented by the richness of gastronomy which offers an explosion of flavors built on locally produced natural ingredients.
For the conference, we are pleased to offer recognition for outstanding abstracts for young scientist and best presentation award. Every attendee except invited speaker is eligible for these awards — the award based on the quality of the abstract submission and the presentation.
